Well he finally made it here.  Here are some pics in the slideshow, we hope you enjoy.

First Day of School Euphoria

And it begins!  The Larson kids are mobilizing for some edumuhcation and all are very excited!!!!  

Kimbyl is going into 2nd grade,  Emma is about to start Kindergarten,  Max is very excited about pre-K and Tessa is very happy to have Mom to herself for a few hours a day (oh yeah, she will have a new little bro to contend with :)

We had to go buy some new lunch-boxes for the girls.  Here is an excited Kimbyl with her's...
....and an ecstatic Emma with her's.  Boy every little thing with going back to school causes a lot of excitement.
This picture isn't really related to anything, but Max was pretty happy that "He found it!!!"

The genius of cardboard

This is a happy pregnant (beautiful) Mindy.  We couldn't take anymore holes in our clothes from our possessed dryer and anymore leaks from our leaky washer, so I broke down and bought some new ones....they've gone over very well so far.

But what has gone over even better (with the kids that is) is the cardboard box that the dryer came in.  Here is Tessa enjoying the window.
Of course the kids did their best to decorate their new "home".
This particular cardboard house came with a stylish circular window,  a hard to find feature.

FHE Frenzy

For our Family Night activity we decided to play the candy bar game!!  All you need is a candy bar wrapped in foil, a fork and knife, two dice, oven mittens, a scarf and a hat.  Everyone takes a turn rolling the dice, when ever someone rolls "doubles" they then get to put on the mittens, scarf and hat and start digging into the candy bar with the fork and knife, that is, until the next person rolls a double, then play freezes and everything needs to be taken off and passed to the next player who rolled a double.  It can get pretty frustrating having a piece of chocolate oh so tantalizingly close to your mouth only to have someone else roll a double and you have to drop it all.

Of course with the little kids you need to ease up on the rules a bit.  Tessa liked getting dressed up!
Kimbyl seemed like a natural....

Tessa kinda bipassed the whole utensil rule, but thats okay, she has a small mouth...
We had a lot of happy, satisfied, chocolate-covered chillin's at the end of it all.

Travelin Time

We traveled to Utah for David's funeral.  Our usual rest stop in St. George is the Sinclair Gas Station where the kids always like to get on the dinosaur.  

The funeral was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed seeing their cousins and playing in Gpa and Gma Lant's backyard and basement.   Kimbyl like hangin' out with the older girls (Alyssa and Madison), while Emma, Max and Tessa hung out with the Jensen boys in the basement.

Lil' cousin Grace found a stalk of sour Rhubarb that she found quite palatable...pretty funny.

A Little Larson Fashion

Kimbyl decided to get all gussied-up on her own by putting every hair clip and hair accessory in the house on at the same time.

Mindy took a few cute ones of Tessa.  

Yes, the front door seems to be the most happenin' backdrop that we can find in our house.  We really like the handle :)

Firetruck Inspection

Yup that horn works!!  Max and Emma really liked getting up in the fire engine and making some serious noise....not much different from home :)

Self-Timer Success

I don't know about ya'll, but when we actually get the whole family to hold still and actually smile at the camera while doing the self timer thing its a miracle!!

Sudz-N-Fun

You know what happens...after dinner...washin' dishes...lil' too much soap and Viola!!  Lots of fun!  Tessa thought it a wee bit scary!
