Come and get it!!!!!

Dinner time at the Larson's is a time of great joy and anticipation. Here is a glimpse of Ian between the ever present Ranch dressing and the jug-o-lemonade.

Max is 4 1/2 and is really growin' like a weed. Doesn't look like a little boy any more does he?
Emma always performs well at the dinner table....no vegetable is safe!
Kimbyl has developed selective tastes as of late. Its always fun to cajole and press her to eat the two single pieces of lettuce that constitute her "salad".
This is where Tessa usually can be found...running around. "Young lady get back up on your chair this second!....Tessa I mean it!.....Tessa, put down Frodo!.....Agggghhhhhhh."

I likee!

Max found Dad's boots and was doing some low-crawling on the side walk. The sidewalk chalk added a nice neon flair to the drab tan color on my boots.
There he goes...doesn't look too comfy.
Ian loves eating puffs!! (sporting post bath hair...awesome!)
Mommy loves eating Ian.

Just Cool Down Will ya?

So we picked up some super soakers to help the kids channel their energy and stay cool at the same time. Wouldn't you know it a full scale super soaker showdown broke out after I got home from work one day, didn't even have time to get out of my work clothes. Max would hold his weapon like a bazooka and was good at the sneak attack from behind.
Here is a menacing pose from Kimbyl, right before she blasted Mommy with a huge stream of high quality H2O.
Emma was on the receiving end from a frontal and posterior attack. We'z wuz all wet frum hed to toe!!!

Bro Time

Those heads have got to be related! It's not often that we find these two forces of nature playing quietly next to each other.....awwwww
And right on que! nice shot dad! Head! get in here!

"8....9.....10.....you're out!!!"

Here we are at the scene of the crime. Looks to be a well nourished, well dressed 9 month old boy who appears to be motionless. A suspicious empty container is clasped in his right hand.
From this angle one can see the container (we'll call it a "bottle") is firmly gripped by subject's right hand indicating such a complete and rapid loss of conscienceness that the muscles in the hand were unable to retract and release the bottle before coming to rest in there current location.
What was in that container....er bottle? Clearly a potent sedative. This kid is out! Who did this to him?
A ha! The culprit is found. This "lovable" canine was seen just minutes before carrying the container in question to the unsuspecting victim. E tu Frodo?

back in the swing...

Here are the Larson kids inside a tent located out in the wilds of California! ..........
........or maybe just the wilds of the family room at Ft. Irwin. We bought this tent so Max and Dad had one for the father and son's outing with the Victorville stake. It was pretty fun, we camped overnight on the field of the Hi-Desert Maveriks, a farm team of the Seattle Mariners located in Victorville, CA. Max and Dad had a lot of fun!
Here is Emma displaying her creative cover that she made for her "hat day parade". She had fun decorating it.
It felt great just to kick back and catch up with Ian. There's been a lot going on in his life lately and he was eager to share. He had a little concern about his weight gain, indeed he does have some good chunk!
